     President Obama spoke at the inter-faith vigil December 16 following the recent tragic shooting.  America honored, mourned, and prayed for the twenty children and six adults who were shot and killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.  The president stated, “We cannot tolerate this (violence) anymore!”  America grieves with the families, fellow students, and teachers after this horrendous and senseless loss of human life.

     Mr. President and mainstream media: Where is the same level of outrage over the violence of abortion – violence which maims an estimated 4,000 infants daily and destroys the lives of post-abortive women?   Although uncomfortable, it’s time to have a national conversation about the violence of abortion - the killing of (preborn) human life. This carnage cannot be tolerated anymore!

     President Obama said we should “protect and keep our children safe” and asked, “Are we doing enough?”  No, we are certainly not doing enough to protect our youngsters – born and unborn.  We (society) will be judged on how we treat those most vulnerable: the aged, handicapped, sick, and our (innocent) unborn sisters and brothers.  Mr. Obama also went on about how sacred life is, and how our children are so precious.  He even used the words…Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.”  I guess he meant after they can walk.  Stop the violence of abortion!

Patience, Perseverence, Prayer

PATIENCE, PERSEVERENCE, PRAYER          For over 20 years, I had this indescribable feeling deep within my being, aching to see my birthmother.  I longed to meet her before she passed away.   This “feeling” never escaped me.  I wanted to know, touch and hug her.  I always knew God heard my prayers.  Might he also answer them?      I began searching for my birthmother in 1981.  Washington Adoptee’s Reunion Movement (WARM) was the official agency within Washington State to unseal court records.  I learned of my “non-identifying information” through WARM.      My birthmother was 21 at the time of delivery.  She had brown hair and blue eyes.  Nine siblings were in her Catholic family and she was of German ancestry.  I discovered my grandmother had tuberculosis and died of Alzheimer’s while my grandfather had heart problems and died of cancer.  ...
