MPHS: A Former Teacher Writes

I wanted to write something, but wasn't sure what to say, as I pondered the tragic shooting events which began on the morning of Friday, October 24, 2014 at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. Our hearts were suddenly shattered and filled with intense shock, sadness and grief as we all learned of the horror MPHS students, staff, families, and the Marysville community experienced on this unbelievable day.  Frequently, I have walked the make-shift memorial fence which is full of well wishes, tears, love, peace, prayers and support for not only the victims, families and staff, but the entire Marysville area. I have wept. I have prayed. I continue to pray.  While searching Internet media sites attempting to obtain the latest information, I located the following blog post, which spoke volumes to I, too, process these events. I have never met Mr. P, but our children graduated from MPHS.

Abby Johnson: Building a Culture of Life - Cornerstone Catholic Conference

ABBY JOHNSON: Former Planned Parenthood director, now outspoken pro-life leader, author of best-selling book, Unplanned, founder of And Then There Were None, a ministry to assist abortion clinic workers out of the abortion industry.

Abortion is the most common medical procedure in America – it is done blind – --not guided by ultrasound or sonogram imaging during actual procedure.

Abby performed 40 abortions per day; at 13 weeks – arms, legs, fingers, toes,        --internal organs formed and recognized.

Apathy: After 40 years of abortion - apathy continues as a significant driver of abortion.

Response to abortion: “We do nothing! We are silent! Church is silent!”

--So very angry at our Church’s response!

70% of abortion comes from our churches.

57 million abortions so far – 57 million dead babies… What is it going to take?

Dear priests: please pray at the abortion clinic! If YOU lead, WE will follow.

How much do we talk about abortion? In our bulletin? During “Prayers of the Faithful?” Do we publish Sanctity of Human Life Sunday?

Our silence on this issue is deafening. If we do not value defense of life in the womb, why value the homeless?

One in three women have abortions in America.

Breaking News: 10 dead cats…more care and compassion for animals in shelters than we are with our unborn children in the womb.

Abby participated in 20,000 abortions.

Abortion: America's Great Holocaust - Thoughts on this January 22, 2018

Between 58 and 59 million preborn infants have died by abortion in America since the January 22, 1973 - when the U.S. Supreme Court legal...
